DESCRIPTION:Come "mine" for semi-precious stones at the library! We'll dig through sand to find tumbled stones\, talk about identifying rocks\, and participate in more geology-themed activities. Since the tumbled stones can be a choking hazard\, we are very firm on ages: 4-9. Children will go home with a small quantity of tumbled stones and an identification guide. Space is limited and registration is required\, starting October 9. Stop by the Children's Desk or call 873-6281 to sign up.
