Join us for a Gallery Talk with Donna on Saturday, December 13, at 10:30 a.m., where she’ll share insights into her work and lifelong connection to Hardangersom.

Donna earned her teaching degree from Hamline University and taught at Iowa State University before moving to Stoughton, where she embraced the community’s strong Norwegian heritage. After learning Hardangersom from longtime local stitchers, she began teaching the craft in 1972. In 1991, she founded Satin Stitches, offering traditional and contemporary designs in select Midwest shops and online. She continues to teach a weekly class at the Stoughton Senior Center.
